My College Transition (2017)

I created this video for a homework assignment; I was tasked to depict a "transformation". I chose my transition into college, and documents the isolation I felt during my first couple months.

Since its publishing, it has reached over 470,000 views. I was awarded the Emerging Filmmaker award by the UnLonely Film Festival in 2018.

BREAKING (2019)

This video aimed to create a dialogue that satirizes the stress culture within competitive educational settings. My group and I anonymously broadcasted this video around Cornell University. We aimed to highlight that a culture of high-intensity competition is detrimental to communal mental health. We are part of an environment that asks a lot from as students and young professionals, and it is vital that campus culture celebrates self-care instead of unhealthy or unmaintainable work habits - lest it set a precedent for our life post graduation.

A Woman Goes To The Psychologist (2020)

Spearheaded by Lane Letourneau, this project was a live performance where we personified and documented interaction between a woman and her psychologist. The costumes are based on the painting “Woman Leaving the Psychoanalyst” (1961) by surrealist artist Remedios Varo. Witihn the script, we used song lyrics, literature, and our personal writings to discuss re-defining one’s identity in the wake of loss.
